Had the idea for a vertical upright piece and the first thing that came to mind was Link and the verticality of Tears of the Kingdom.

It was not prepared for how quickly this came together having finished it in a few hours in just one stream.

“Invasive Species”

I’ve been working on this idea for almost a year now. What started as a piece of two people in a post apocalypse scene turned into two children an overgrown landscape. Where originally I had ruined buildings and signage, I now have unnatural plant life.

I’m very happy with how this piece has turned out!

It was a big reminder that if the piece doesn’t work at first, take some time away, look at it again, and don’t hesitate to delete your art and try again.

It’s very funny that this trend is making the rounds as I just finished this piece the other night.

It’s based on a story idea that I’d like to tell someday of an elven warrior named Felthorne fighting to survive in the barren wasteland of The Red Plains.

Was going through old drawings and found a piece I wanted to give another shot.

After a week of fiddling, I am very happy with the results.

I am happy to share these with you guys as they’ve made me happy to draw.

These first few posts are going to be funny too because, the first few ideas were just stream of consciousness, draw the first thing I think of lol. Later on I sat down and made a list of ideas and now I pick which one I have a good concept for or whatever sounds most fun to do.

Not in a very good place today so, thought I’d draw the big blue to cheer myself up.

Wanted to try my hand at something so I stretched my Jack Kirby and Mike Mignola inspirations and made this piece.

This started as just a warm up doodle but, I knew had to finish it. It’s been a joy watching my partner play through the Horizon games and I absolutely love Aloy and the world of robotic creatures.
